ACTIVITIES: The Friends of Eastfield Park carry out a wide range of activities in relation to Eastfield Park. These include:

Consulting with local residents and negotiating with other interested parties about future plans for the Park.

Educating the general public as well as children and students about the Park, its history and wildlife.

Conducting research into the history of the Park and its surroundings; investigating wildlife & biodiversity in the Park.

Raising an awareness of the Park by encouraging its use for a variety of activities, some of which we organise ourselves.

Creating a 'vision' for the Park; proposing measures and producing action plans for making the vision a reality.

Keeping others informed about our activities and achievements; encouraging a wider involvement in our pursuits.

Taking care of the Park, its facilities and its wildlife and, where possible, improving them for future generations to enjoy.
